I am ten years old.
Deserted country road
Icy wind dashing headlong
Only moonlight illuminating
dark shadows and the red reflected
by their tapetum lucidum
Hundred pound, ugly brown coat
the church gave me
Ditch to ditch
No escape.
Wake up screaming...

I, LINDA -
had my 75th birthday.
I welcome 2022.
AS ALWAYS:
May your muse be prolific and faithful and never leave you swinging in the blustering breeze of dry, fruitless frustration.
May you see the poetry in every situation and may your efforts be well received by your peers.
As time winds down, may you be where you need to be when you need to be there doing what you are meant to be doing.
Be Blessed!
It's the wind that is dashing headlong down the road . . .
