Easy Strawberry 🍓 Shortcake

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon flour
Mixing bowl

9x9 inch pan
Small bowl
Preheat 350 degrees
Large bowl, use spoon not electric mixer to combine - 2 cups flour, 1 cup sugar, butter, baking soda and buttermilk. Pour into greased 9x9 inch pan
In small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 tablespoon flour. Sprinkle over batter.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes
Serve with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, etc.
