OLD FASHION POTATO CANDY

IN NOMINE Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.

IN THE NAME of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

AMEN

Picture is courtesy of BellyFull, although their recipe is different than mine (as like my other recipe's), it is still the same similar looking product in the end with the same name. I do not have a camera.

OLD FASHION POTATO CANDY

"Delicious"

1/2 or 1 small boiled potato (or leftover mash potatoes)

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

About 2 cups of powdered sugar

1/2 cup peanut butter

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mash potato, add butter, vanilla and enough powdered sugar to make a slightly stiff dough.

  2. Roll out dough on a flat surface dusted with powdered sugar. Spread peanut butter on top of.

  3. Roll dough up (as for jelly roll) to make a log.

  4. Cut into pieces, let air dry for about an hour

  5. Store in air tight container

Makes about 2 dozen confections
