"PRISON WALLS"
These prison walls are lined with steel
That echo through the night
You can hear the sound of prisoners
As they cry out in pain
For the guards have mistreated them
And locked them up in chains
Prison Walls, Oh, Prison Walls
Why can't you understand
The wants and needs of this lonely man
These prison walls have brought me
Pain and heartache for so long
They took away my spirit and song
And tore away my pride
Prison Walls, oh, Prison Walls
Listen To My Plea
Please open up these gates of hell
And let me walk free
Prison Walls, oh, prison walls
Why can't you understand
The wants and needs of every lonely man
